The Cauldron, aka Shotgun, is one of Komodo’s most popular dive sites and is located at the north end of the park. Famous for its ripping currents, this dive shoots you (like a shotgun) into China Shop, a beautiful protected coral garden. The Cauldron is a great dive for the thrill-seekers! Similar to the rest of Komodo, you can see a wide variety of marine life, namely the big pelagics that love the currents such as sharks and mantas.
